Adriana Nicole Torres Diaz
BIO
Soprano Adriana Nicole Torres Diaz, a Puerto Rican native, is currently pursuing graduate studies at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music under the mentorship of Carol Vaness. Holding undergraduate degrees in Voice from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico and Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, she previously studied with Zoraida López and Diana Alvarado.
Torres Diaz has portrayed roles such as Ceatrice in Suor Angelica and Despina in Così fan tutte, and has performed in various productions, including Xerse, Die Zauberflöte, La Rondine, and Ainadamar with the Indiana University Opera Theater. Notably, she sang the role of Venus in the premiere of Pluto at the Vienna Summer Music Festival and has participated in the WIUX project, Song for Skeptics.
